this probly isn't the place to vent but owe well
i got pulled over a little while ago coming home from the store, this bastard cop followed me a good mile through city streets just to turn on his lights as soon as i enter the most congested street in town. i knew i wasn't speeding, i used my turn signals, and didn't have any tail lights out so i'm like..what the fuck now?
well i've sanded and primered my rear bumper so it's grey. the retard walked up to my window and said "did you paint this thing? cause when i looked up your plate numbers it came back red"
being a smartass i said, no...i left it out in the sun and it just faded like that :lol2: he didn't find it so funny.......
well, i ended up getting a warning :screwy:
now i know cops are just doing there job and i appreciate that, but damnit this is the FOURTH time i've been pulled over ON THE SAME STREET, BY THE SAME COP! in the last 6 months, and every time he's pulled me over my vehicle has looked like that.
i think he's just harrassing me, and it's starting to piss me off a little. anybody else have jerks like that in your town? wonder if i can get a restraining order against him :lol2:

Can we really not say douche bags? Anyways, that cop is deffinately trying to piss you right the hell off. Just tell him straight out not to pull you over again just because he's a bored moron and has nothing better to do.

the only thing you can do is contact his department and file a complaint against him. I don't recommend you claim he is harrassing you or they probably won't even listen to your claim....all you have to tell them is that he pulled you over for having a sanded bumper. If the rest of the car is red then he doesn't have legal probably cause to have detained you like he did and therefor the stop was made illegally. Technically you could probably sue him personally for violation of your 4th amendment rights and since he is most likely outside of department policy, according to a supreme court ruling he would be held personally liable for his actions. This means that the department is not responsible.
All this is fairly extreme but like I said, the best thing you can do is to file a complaint against this officer with the department.

Well lets see. I worked a double shift today from 2245 to 1500 hrs and had to be back again at 2245 tonight... After stoping at 7-11 to get my Diet Rock Star energy drink I took off down the street to the hospital where i work and a cop was on a side street..... I was going like 40 in a 25 mph zone.... He pulled me over like 200 yards form the enterance to the Hospital and walked up to the car and said "Shit not you what r u doing cruzing" I said "Cruzing i am going to work what do you want" Thank god i know all the cops in town from dealing with there drunk intoxicated POS people they bring in...lol Not all cops are bad but some can be, PIGS.

I got one for ya.. I was in my P.O.S. '86 Civic Hatchback, and I had temporary regsistration.. Now it's a hatch where the glass isn't slanted, so it looks like those Scion's, ya know.. I was going to my friends house at say 9 p.m. at night, and there was a cop hiding for speeding cars hiding in the court that is right next to my friends house. He pulls behind my car while i'm parked on the street, and asks to see my dl, ins, and reg.. all cause i had my temp reg.. and it was in the glass where he could see it. WTF?!

one thing I would like to point out, that was mentioned though, the cop in what way did not violate your 4th amendment rights. the 4th amendment garuntees against illegal searches and seizers. pulling you over does not violate this. now if he pulled you over, had you stand out, and started looking through your car without probable cause, or asking you if he could, THEN it would be a violation. pulling you over time after time just seems his little joy trip on harrasing certain people. All you need to do is take each ticket, or warning, and then go take it to the police station. ask to speak to the watch commander of his shift. If you dont have a warning for each one, or a ticket, then probably through a lawyer, you can get the dispatchers log report and show at each and every time you were stopped. then just simply tell the watch commander in a very reasonable and mellow conversation that you feel this officer is going out of his way to purposely stop you. If you do decide to go talk to his watch commander, let me give you some advice. I don't know what type of person you are, but not to be mean, or offensive, but make sure you are very clean, nicely shaven, wearing decently nice clothes that fit well. you want to present yourself as a very respectable person. if you go in all scruffy and disheviled looking, your not going to get the proper attention.

Lol, my mom is a dispatcher for the popo in another town not that far from where i live, i get plenty of tips from her cop friends... and cop registration (on my other 2, soon to be 3 cars)/ins rates.. I guess that's what set him off, a shit car in a rich town.

Yup, when i get pulled over, the cops do go easy.. and ins is cheeeeeeappp for me, but unlike most kid in my town, I pay for everything--- the car, the reg, the ins, gas, maintainance.. upgrades come once in the while of bday/christmas presents. But hey, i'm grateful for that break.. For 2 cars, full coverage, it's about 450.

Large policy with many, many cars... the dept has coverage for the squad, and it's employees.. my mom put me on her policy.. that and i have 1 point on my record, for a car accident in june... so to me, this is cheap. thank god i had a good job b4 i moved.

well.. the 2 cars are an 89 turbo supra, and a 94 t-bird.. both worked for very hard for.. the benz is $10,500. The reason it is so expensive is because while it's not an authentic EVO I/II (there were 502 of EACH made) it's an engine made by benz, and cosworth.. Highly regarded British engine maker. It's only a 4 banger, yet puts out 175+ hp with no turbo, s/c, anything. It set a world record, doing 50,000 km in 202 hrs, only stopping for driver changes, tires, oil, gas, etc. It ran 202 hrs at 160 mph.. It's the first car to beat the m3. I love this car when my buddy bought one, and it's everything to me, even more than the supra... 600 a month for full (esp if I wreck...) is well worth it.

Problem solved.
i'm usually not, but being pulled over by the same cop 4 times gets a little old.
he even pulled me over back in highschool when i was driving my plymouth duster.
i was driving to my building trades class at about 12:30 a.m. and got pulled over for speeding (he had ever right..it was my fault). it was about 60* outside when i went to school so i didn't wear a jacket, then a cold front moved in and dropped to about 40*. well, i rolled my window down when he walked up to my car so i was shaking a little bit due to it being cold outside and not wearing a jacket, and he accused me of hiding something because i was shaking and looked nervous.
he asked me 3 times if he could search my car, and i said yes each time. he searched under my seats, in the glove box, in the trunk and still proceeded to ask "are you sure there's no weapons or drugs in here?".....duh! you just looked! after searching he went back to his car and sat there for a good 15 minutes before giving me a written warning for speeding. i then got detenting for being late to class, and the embarrasment of my car being searched in public. i dont do drugs, i dont smoke, and i dont even look like someone that would do either of those or even carry a weapon. i think he's just trying to be a prick

"what are you doing walking this by a buisy street like this" i said "im going to my riding area is there a problem"...and he goes and said "ur luckey it wasnt on or you would be going strait to jail right now" the cops around are power hungry people. they are all jerks. one of my family friends is a orland cop and he even said most of the cops around here are a$$holes. dont want to see what happens when i get my car next year haha

A farmer got pulled over by state trooper Jon for speeding, and the trooper started to lecture the farmer about his speed, and in general began to throw his weight around to try to make the farmer uncomfortable. Finally, trooper Jon got around to writing out the ticket, and as he was doing that he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head. The farmer said, “Having some problems with circle flies there, are ya?”
Trooper Jon stopped writing the ticket and said, “Well yeah, if that’s what they are—I never heard of circle flies.”
So the farmer said, “Well, circle flies are common on farms. See, they’re called circle flies because they’re almost always found, circling around the back end of a horse.”
The trooper said, “Oh,” and went back to writing the ticket. Then after a minute he stopped and said, “Hey, wait a minute, are you trying to call me a horse’s ass?”
“Oh no, officer. I have too much respect for law enforcement and police officers to even think about calling you a horse’s ass.”
Trooper Jon said, “Well, that’s a good thing,” and went back to writing the ticket.
After a long pause, the farmer said, “Hard to fool them flies though.”
