Improved Cargo/ Rear light?

Can anyone steer me towards an aftermarket, improved cargo lamps or even an alternate setup?

I have seen the lamps which mount to the receiver (such as this http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/storeId-10101/p-5687/c-10101/catalogId-10101 ) but those seem far too low. I am looking for something that is higher up on the vehicle, possibly even a replacement for the OEM 3rd brake light/ cargo lamps.
