Sorry if this is under the wrong category, i'm new to forums.
I want to install new LED windshield washer jets but i'm not too sure on how to connect the wires. I connect the black to an existing ground and white/red to a 12V source. I was thinking of hooking it up to my headlights so they only come on when i turn those on.
Where and how exactly do i do this? Do i need to actually strip the plastic off the wire and wind the new one around it?
PS. do i just pop off the cardboard cover off under the hood? It's sitting in snug, any specific technique needed?
any help would be appreicated, thanks.

when i did mine, i just popped my windshield washer nozzles off, and bolted the new ones on, then I had mine hooked up to an on/off switch, incase i see any cops, (they are illegal around here), so i can turn them off and still keep on my headlights, the positive wire needs to go to a positive power source ( like your car battery, try to install a fuse on it as well), and the black needs to be grounded, then you run the wires through the firewall, under your dash, and to a switch that you need to install, most LED washers will come with the instructions for this setup, or hook them up the same way as a pair of fog lights on a switch.. thats how i did mine awhile back anyways, since then i disconnected them, and just put the stock nozzles on...

If I were you I wouldn't do that, I had a blue pair of those on by '93 Camry (It seamed cool at the time but now I relized I was such a ricer :loser: ) Luckly I grew out of it :icon16:
Anyway I had them on for about 2 months when a cop pulled me over. He was like "boy don't you know those are illegal?" I was like "uh no not really officer" To make a long story short he said that I was smarting off to him :bs: and insted of giving me a ticket for like 20-40 bucks- or even a warning (It was my first offence ever!) he gave me a $68 ticket!
And he also followed me home (Where I was heading) to make sure I took them off!(he sat in his car in front of my house! :wtf: )
Anyway I live in Iowa and the laws may be diffrent where you live, but just wanted to tell you what can happen if your not careful!
