Fuel Pressure Regulator

ok...I have been doing a little research on fuel pressure regulators. Is a fuel pressure optimizer the same as a fuel pressure regulator? I think it is. Anyways I was doing a couple of calculations. NOW I DONT KNOW IF I AM RIGHT so don't laugh and point fingures. lol. ok..so I was calculating how man PSI you can run your fuel pressure regulator on your stock injectors. Because the stock injectors on an Integra (LS) are around 240cc - which means ,from this chart i found, that you can only tune the fuel pressure regulator to an certain pressure. So if you are still reading this bare with me. Lets say your injectors flow 244cc/min. That means that you can only tune your fuel pressure regulator to 44psi. Right? So unless you have some hefty injectors, a fuel pressure regulator can't really increase fuel flow that much. here is the site -

Also, Lets say you got some realllly high flowing injectors, can your fuel pump keep up with that? Or do you really need one of those 255lph ones.

your pump is the #1 most important part of your fuel delivery system!!! its the hart in your body. to decide on what size of pump you want, you have done a good job so far understanding the flow charictorics of your stock injectors, but will need to find out what your engiens air/fuel lbs/min will need to be for what you will be wanting to do. once you figure that out, find the flow rate that your injectors will need to be, not letting them be 80% or more to full load, match that up with your flow rate on the FPR and Pump. i think that a high flow 190 is more then enough, but of course ultimitly your fuel controller will make it all come together
