Im not much for progress threads so im just gonna show what im up to at the moment in one big post. The benz & the BMW were "captures" i made during the the summer at a model shop in Stockholm, been after them for a while. As you can see the other is an "ordinary" Aristo from HLJ. So.......no progress threads for these, they'll appear later completed.
Thanks for looking, Mike :smokin:

Having to re-paint the body due to two small bubbles in the paint, mica red on top of gold. Chrome parts on engine are done with Alclad, chassais parts painted with highly polished aluminium. Stich dish rims.

Dark Mica blue. Not sure about the rims yet though.

Totally cut out the wheel wells here to get the wheels in and under, never done this before so im well pleased with myself. Realised later that a few bits would have to be left out (shocks etc) but i think it looks good anyway. Adding this rear wing from Aoshima. Wing bits & rims painted with Alclad's pale burnt metal.

i have just finish one the same S600 as yours.
but i face one big problem as the metal transfer is nolonger sticky, possibly because the kit has been hanging for quite a long time
so i suggest to take better care when applying the metal trasfer.
i ahve already ruined those two at the rear door. i now just hope the "v12" ones are still keeping in their place
it is nice~
good luck~!!
