Help! Good price for a '97 Max??

Hi, i'm new here on this board but i've been browsing for awhile now. I am looking to purchase a Maxima but need your advices if this sounds like a good deal. Its a '97 Maxima SE, 5speed with 42,000 miles and they want $10950 for it. Its in good condition. It has a factory spoiler, but it doesn't have the 16 alloy wheels, leather seats, fog lights, moonroof. Please tell me what you think. Also do the '97 Maxima SE come with standard ABS? Thanks in advance.

Don't do the celica, I think you would enjoy the maxima alot better, I know just a little biased opinion but I have been in a new celica and everyday life in the max is far better.

ABS was an option and finally bacame standard on the new body style.

Sounds to me like it is a GXE, easiest way to check is the door handles (if they are the same color as the car then it should be an SE, if it has chrome anywhere on the exterior it is not an SE).

The SEs also came standard with the foglights and 16inch rims, I don't see why anyone would want to take either of them out :confused:

The wing could be added to the GXE.

Leather and moonroof is only an option on the SE models.

I bought a 97 GLE with all the options except seat warmers and ABS about 3 months ago for $11000. I felt like it was a good deal. There was 68K miles on it. I am very happy.
