installed new hu & one small problem

there was no dim light wire on my new head to connect the old hu's dimmer light and now it dont work.. how do i light up my gauges and at night? the cd player works fine

??????? The power goes INTO the dimmer switch on the headunit, not from it. Just hook the wire that was hooked to the old head unit's illumination to the guages. If they still don't light up, the fuse may be blown
