LEAK noise?

OK a while ago I asked what the noise might be...
When boost gets around the upper line of the stock boost guage the noise starts and the higher the boost the higher pitch the noise.
It also makes the noise when at a stop sign/light with the brake applied.
I had my bro put it in drive and hold the brake and I could hear the noise coming through the K&N and when I squeezed the dump tube it stopped... thats the reason why I got the 1gen BOV.
I got it installed today and the noise is still there when accelerating and when brake is applied at a stop... the only difference is the stronger feel of acceleration!!!MORE BOOST!!!YEAH!!! But the noise is still there... the only way I can explain the noise is almost exactly like if you have a bad ground on an amp and you get the alternator noise that gets higher in pitch with higher RPM...ITS NOT MY RADIO LMAO
I do plan on doing the pressure test off of VFAQ but am limited in funds after the BOV addition!!! wife and two kids nuff said.
I have gone through and checked all connections and all vac lines and all are good! Could it be the evaporative canister by chance?
The noise wasn't there one night and in the morning it was!!! that sudden and hasn't gotten louder or anything...been about 4 weeks now.
I hope this was informative enough for y'all!!! lol
ANY help or ideas would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it a loud whisting noise that happens after the rpms start to drop? And you said the noise is coming out of the intake pipe? This sounds EXACTLY like what my car is doing at the moment, as well. It started right after I put on the 1g bov. Sorry I can't offer any advice on how to fix it, cause I've been looking too :(

It starts when boost grows... about where the upper line is on the stock boost guage... gets louder from there on to a point.
I'll have boost pressure readings hopefully by the end of this weekend when I get my boost guage installed along with my air/fuel guage!!!! yeah

Hey GuitarXGeek did you ever get the new couplers for the UICP? If its not that could it just be the bov...maybe it needs to be crush, but i seriuosly doubt that because according to a lot of people it can handle well over 15 psi....it might be the bov gasket too...

Yes I got the new couplers for the UICP and also some t-bolts and they work GREAT. No more boost leaks, but I do still hear the loud whistle =( I did some reading on dsmtuners, and apparently it's relatively common for some of the 1g bov's to whistle like that.
