From what I hear, air-ride blows ass when it comes to ride comfort. Air-ride was made mainly for show cars, not performance cars. So if you want good peformance, don't go with air-ride systems, they suck :)

Yeah But What Are The Differences Between Them Both Use Air?

well. i guess somone might think an air ride suspention might just use air to raise and lower any one of the 4 parts of the car, where a hydrolic might use hydrolic fluid to do the same thing. but i dont know. and it might just be a little difficult not to abnormaly wear your tires out.

Hydraulic uses a hydraulic fluid, air ride uses air. They work the same way basically, pumping some fluid into a cylinder or bag to raise the car and letting it out to lower. Hydraulics should have a much harsher ride than air suspension, but I havent owned a car with either system ;) Air systems are also easier and cheaper to maintain.

hydraulic systems also can start your car on fire. i saw a mexican who was "bouncing" his '87 celebrity rust bucket and one of the lines broke and started the car on fire. it was hilarious.

Who the hell would wana use hydraulics for anything over than a show car? Hydraulic fluid doesn't compress i wonder how good of ride that could give?hmmm?? seems like none of ur people even know what ur talking about. Who was the guy who said the 4 parts of the car? come on buddy if u don't know what to actually call the parts ur talking about i don't think u should be talking

And if your stupid ass doesn't know how to spell, you shouldn't be typing. Don't come in here starting shit, believe me, there are plenty of people here that can take a shit that knows more about DSMs than your brain has the capacity to hold. Two suggestions, noob, check dates before you run your mouth, and watch who you're running your mouth to. :nono:
Oh yeah, welcome to AF.

You guys always complain about doing a search before you post... Then when someone finds a thread that pretains to what he's inquiring about, you bash him because the thread is "out dated".. Don't contradict yourself fellas.

We tell them to search so they can find answers to their questions, not to answer them.
