not getting fuel, won't start

I've got a 1984 fiero with the 2.5 4cyl.
i'm pretty much not getting any fuel at all, i've tested the injector (it's fine), replaced the fuel filter, replaced the fuel relay.. and i can hear the fuel pump buzz for a few seconds after turning the key to the RUN position, so i believe that's fine. when i ground the blue wire that goes to the fuel injector, it'll spray fuel. I think my ECM is ok, although i'm not entirely sure.
it'll turn over just fine, it's just not spraying any fuel out on it's own.
after i let it sit for while, and then make the injector spray some fuel in, it'll start normally... then it'll run for a while, but once i shut it off, it might start a couple more times.. it might not, but then i can't start it again
this is my first car, and i'm still learning... so i really don't know what to do, and i can't afford to take it in to a shop..

well.... i guess it turned out to be my ignition module, i replaced it
