Just purchased an 04 Trailblazer LS in Dark Gray with the 1SB package and WOL tires. Seemed like I got a good deal figuring the great incentives out right now. Anyway, got some questions pretaining to some accessories I am interested in:
1. Would like to get some running boards, any one have a recommendations and how hard is it to install? Any special tools or drilling I may need to do? Dealer wanted to much for the installation of running boards and I can get the GM boards for like $300 from gmpartsdirect.
2. Recommendations on a bug deflector. Want one that doesn't use tape and can be easily removed should I need to to clean under it. Also want one that won't create too much wind noise. Bought a couple of AVS versions and all were scratched or had some warpage.
3. Recommendations on ventvisors. Also want one that doesn't create too much wind noise. Thinking of getting the channel versions, but have had mixed responses. Any suggestions?
4. Recommendations on floor mats. My job requires that I be on jobsites sometimes and may be muddy and all, so would like a recommendation for some weather floor matts.
5. Recommendations on reverse senesors. Also, if you live in Georgia, do you have a recommendation on installers?
Sorry for being so long and all. Thanks for your advise.
Jeff

jauto98,
1- The steps are easy to install if you get the GM ones. The holes are already there, so all you have to do is bolt them up (6 bolts each side).
2- I have the GM defelctor (12497617 smoke), and it is fine. I have not noticed any wind noise even at high speeds (80+). It uses holes already in the hood to mount. Took about 10 mins to install with 4-5 screws.
3- I have the ventvisors, non-channel ones, no problems. Wind noise is not all that bad, but i do not think it matters which one you get, you will still get a little wind noise.
4- I have the GM rubber mats (12497714 pewter front- 12497716 pewter rear), and they work for me. They are moled to fit the TrailBlazer, and have a lip on them to keep water, snow, mud, ect... I also have the cargo the cargo area liner (12497840 pewter). If I remeber correctly, I think the Envoy ones come with a part that covers the dead peddle. Might want to check into that. I like the GM mats sine they are molded to fit. I had some regular mats in there at first, but they did not work so great.
5- Have no idea.
