air box silencer question!

Ok I know I can remove it, saw instructions on a website. Is it possible to put it back on, ie reverse the mod?? I'll have it on when my mom drives[week days], but when im track/autocross i'll hav it off. Is that possible?

if you wanna do the work, sure, it's possible....but I'd just leave it off. Mom isn't going to drive it hard enough to notice any difference. Mine only gained power at the top of the rpm band, and as far as volume goes, not noticeable change unless throttle is floored and your rpms are up a bit.

uh, its that funny lookin rectangular box with ribs on it right? plastic? cuz thats what i took off....... anyways, noticed it is louder on higher RPMs than before, and pulls harder.

probably not. it has a slightly deeper noise than normal, but its only at high rpms when i noticed it was louder than before. With the box on, the engine starts quieting down on high rpms..
