mega squirt EMS

I think most people know that tuning is almost as important to your car's performance as your wallet.So in my quest for an engine management system I came across something called Mega Squirt. If you don't know what it is then type it in on google. Apparently you can get it for about 140 bucks or less.

So I would like to know, what have you guys heard about or experienced with mega squirt.

never heard of it. Did a search and did not see anything that would directly Relate to an OBD II LT1.

If you are not in an Emmisions testing area, I would COnvert to OBD I and get some Tunbning software and do your own tuning that way. If you are in an Emmisions area, You will have to spend a liuttle more. i think that the TUnercar version for OBD II is out now. If it is, that would be the way to go since it is much cheaper than LT1 edit for OBD II.

some how i think that going to google and typing in 'mega squirt' would yeild results not suitable for audiences under the age of 18...

if you plan on building it yourself, make sure that you are very comferateable with electronics, and know EXACTLY what youre doing. im assuming that this is connected to all the other modules in the OBD I system on the car, so if you put this together wrong, you could not only fail to have the car start, but you could fry other modules, costing you hundreds of dollars to replace.
