Automotive primer you mean?
I think to order red primer respecially for Ferraris.
I've got pinkish shade when applied red over white primer and it's not exactly what I expected

You want an automotive primer but it must be for plastic bumpers.
White primer is right for Ferrari red, you just need to spray enough coats to cover it well.
Red is very translucent! Over red oxide primer it would look too dark!

That was a big discovery for me! I left some spots on the bumper unprimed and it looks awful! Grey plastic clearly can be seen thru the paint. All what I need is sand off paint around it and prime again (only these spots). Shame on me!
