I installed a set of neon glow gauges in my car. After i got it put back together and started driving i realized that the RPM needle was sticking, it would not move up and down smoothly, really choppy or sticky. Help!!!!

put thin double stick tape on the neon faces and press down, or pry the rpm needle off with a fork and put it back down lightly. you will have to calibrate the placement on the needle though.

By placing double side sticky (3M) tape I would think that would actually raise the new gauges more and thus prevent the needle to move more freely.
I would suggest using rubber cement or crazy glue type of adhesive to really hold down the gauges from obstructing the needles movement. I did that for my guage install on my Santa Fe, I am sure there are actual step by step instructions for the one specifically made for the Tib out in the web that will also say to use the adhesive.

if you use the thin type, there is still plenty of room.

be careful if you're new guages are made of plastic, a two part epoxy may eat through or bond it permanently
