Hello I am am very new to this posting stuff but I am in desperate need of help! I bought a 1992 Civic DX and it was trashed. The motor was running on three cylinders the tranny is making funny noises and the body and interior was toast. Well I got the motor running on all four but it is tired and smokes. I took the car into the my father-in-laws body shop and spent two weeks on the body and repainted it a custom blue. Well my real problem is I just got a B16a to swap my tired 1.5 SOHC out with. Well I cant find a B-series tranny for a good price. Dont know what ECU I need. Dont know what other things I need like axles, motor mounts, shift linkage, ect. I know my motor is a JDM B16a SIR2. If anyone could tell me a few good websites to find the things I need and offer your own advice I would greatly appreciate this. It is a 92 civic 4 door DX.

yep, you're gonna need new axles, tranny, linkage, the whole smear for that motor (might wanna change the mounts too). As far as the ECU, I don't know the code for the SiRII, someone on here does though, just give it time.
check out:
www.hmotorsonline.com
they sell motors mostly, but have a variety of JDM parts and such as well, you should be able to pick up all you need through them. If you don't see it on their web site, call them and ask about ordering what you need.
also:
www.nipponmotors.com (I think, try google for Nippon Motors, if that link doesn't work)
they should be able to help also.
there are lots of sites out there that carry JDM stuff, google searches should find most of them, but if not, those 2 should work.
Basically, everything that made that motor work in the car it was in, you'll need in your civic (intake mani, fuel rail, distributor, everything) Im not sure what you got with the motor, if you just got the long block, you've got some work ahead of you.

P30 Ecu: https://passwordjdm.com/index.php?page=shop/flypage&product_id=124&category_id=ecu&ps_session=5f32094d0f54cd991cd3e20c1935849d
I'd try to go or call a local or regional junkyard for the tranny (maybe the ECU as well); maybe try https://www.slhondaparts.com/ in their parts section.

Thank you. I recived the motor with the old mounts, and a GSR distributer, the fuel rail JDM exaust mani, intake mani, fuel rail... It is a complete motor other than the drivetrain and the brain box + wiring. Can I use my stock DX wiring and just make the needed changes like wire in v-tec and a few others or sould I go out and buy the new wire harness? What about shift linkage? What would I need to take that out of to have it work in my car?
Thanks
Thanks

Thank you so much. The only swap I found on there was the GSR into the EG civic but I hope that it is similar to the B16a swap. I hope I can use the same motor mounts. And even the same axles, with my luck though it wont be true! thanks again.

Yes you can use your old wiring harness.....May need to tie in a knock sensor. And a vtec wire if your car is non v tec..Theres an air temp sensor also that will need to be moved into your CAI as the b16 manifold has the spot but no hole to mount. Or you can drill and tap the hole....but dont do it on the motor.
