Ya, I use the GM bar. Wouldnt expect much if that is the only suspension upgrade u have.

Wow...those are pricey. The same bars are available for a fraction of that price from the dealer. They don't come with the brackets though.....but you don't really need them. You do have to drill to install the dealer part one on the front.

They are Regal GS parts but work well on the GP. I have one on the rear on my car. GM part number 12456148.....they come with one for the front and one for the rear......around $25 for the pair.

Personally, I hesitate to drill holes into the strut tower to mount the brace. I got the GMPP kit, and then went and ordered the brace brackets from ZZPerformance so that I wouldn't have to drill holes. The brackets fit like a glove.

heres what i did, i took thoes zzp brackets, and ran 2 pieces of good sterdy steel between them, and flantend the ends. on the back i took 2 pieces of very steardy steel and flatened the ends, and just bolted them up to 2 of the 3 strut studs or whatever you want to call them. how well do you think this is this gonna work??? it seems to be ok to me, but not a huge difference

98whitegpgt, I'm not surprised. The GMPP kit includes solid sway bars instead of hollow ones, and solid rear trailing arms instead of angled steel stampings. I believe that these are the things that make the difference. Since those are making things handle more stress, I think that the strut tower braces are a good thing to add to firm up the entire structure. But that's just my opinion.

yea and they werenet that hard to make, except to flaten the ends, i just heated it up w/ mapp gas and hammerend them, then cleaned them up w/ a grinder. where are these rear trailing arms located,do you think i could build thoes also. who knows some day i might just make my own kit lol
