I am sure with a 1.5" drop you can still get the jack underneath the car. But you will probally need a camber kit also.

i was reading on some other posts that if you go further that 1.5 you might need a camber kit.. ????
my 2ton jack barely goes under the car right now .. i have to remove the big circle piece to have it slide under

Well I might be wrong about the camber kit then but how big is your jack? My 2 1/4 ton jack has ~3" of clearance right now. (my car is not lowered)

thats why you jack it up with the little small tire change jacks and then slide the other one in.

or you can put two pieces of flat wood and drive up on them to give you a little more clearence.

go to any website/store that sells eibach springs and they'll tell you how much each one lowers it. i think the sportline lowers it 1.2" and the pro kit lowers it 1.7". you can also get ground control adjustables which are also really good. either way you'll need a camber kit if you don't want your tires to wear abnormally. you won't need one as much with the 1.2" drop just because they won't be as far off as the 1.7" drop, but they'll still wear quicker than stock suspension.

lol, reverse that, the pro kit lowers the car about 1", and the sportline lowers it 1.75". Yes, you'll want a camber kit, there not that expensive, and they'll save you a set of tires, maybe rims, and headaches.

and just for the record......i need 3 2x4's and someone has to pull up on the car to get my little 3 ton jack underneath. don't even ask about changing a tire on the highway.

guys, springs always sag more than the written lowering height. Springs for my spyder said 1.5"...yeah fckn right...after 4 months I was 2.25" lower than stock, and the rear fender gap was so tiny , you coulcnt even fit your pinky in there.
Get a Revo Technica camber kit. They are the best.

I went with the sportline because of the lesser drop. The Eibach kit is great, my GS-T looks great without the gap in the wheel wells now. Even with the smaller drop, you will have to use a couple of boards to get a jack under the car. Combine the springs with some stiffer struts (I went with KYB adjustable) and you'll be set.

They do make a bigger drop, and I don't know why people are saying otherwise. The Sportlines are a 1.7" drop (although mine sagged to almost 2" after a few months), and the Pro Kit is about 1.2".

You're right. I knew what I wanted to say, it just came out backward. But even with the pro-kit, a few boards are needed.

is eibach the best bang for the buck, and is it available to be shipped through autozone or a store like that? Whats the best spring set for a 1" drop, under $200??

For GS-T
Eibach prokit is about 1.2" drop for both front and rear, and sportline is about 1.6" for both front and rear. Eibach Pro-kit part# 6014.140, Sportline part# 4.1460

Get the pro-kit...it WILL sag more so you will eventually go lower wether u want to or not...which is why getting the sportline is bad since it will SLAM u later on...

Gotcha, i have a ESI, so i don't want it really low, since it already is kinda low. Is there a kit to drop it .75", then it'll sag to about a 1''
