i have an 89 towncar that was my grandfathers, it has just rolled to 80k. it is a fun car to drive, except after driving buick 3.8 liters since my late teens, its a bit sluggish to me. Anyone have any ideas other than dual exhaust?
Earl im jealous, as a person who is currently in search of an 88 or 89 Brougham (bro-ham) however i want one with the 350 versus the 307. i have an 85 Riviera with a 307, again sluggish to me, so i want a caddy that will move.
Can anyone give me any hints as to where to find the linkage on my 89 towncar, that controls when the tranny shifts??? i felt it pop off while driving tonite, and need to get it repaired, if its easy ill do it.

The linkage should be on the drivers side of the transmission.
