Most Unique, Fun to Drive 2-door for under $6,500

I am 14 turning 15 and want a car soon. I make good money but have to pay for my cloths, most food, and shit like that. I figure by the time I get a car I will have $6,500 give or take 500 bucks. My dad is also paying for all insurance, but I still wanna take it easy on him. I race dirtbikes, and I have learned to respect machinery so speed isn't really an issue as long as it it fun to drive. Anyways here are my demands:

Unique, I dont wanna be rollin with what every one else has (Civics, Accords, and at my school, Toyota 4wd's)

Fun to drive, I want something that handles beautifully, I live in the country where there are long swurvy roads, so good turning also.

Light and manuvurable, I dont want it to be a bitch to get out of a parking lot, and light, so it has decent gas mileage. So no old Pontiac Bonnevilles and Late 70's Chryslers.:nono:

And last, it has to be reliable.

LOOKS ARE NOT AN ISSUE! I am open to any car that fits the categories above.

hmmmmm, fun in the corners, 2-door, unique, i wonder what i will suggest. i say look at a 300zx. they handle wonderfully. i am 16 and i pay $175 a month for insurance. but with a unique car, you will be paying quite a bit for insurance.

I would say a Honda Del Sol VTEC. I'm in a similar situation and the del sol seems like a nice option. It's small, quick, handles well, good mileage, and reliable. To top it all off it's a covertable  You see a few on the roads but not very many so it's a farily unique car. The big disadvantage is that it's only a two seater so you can't load up your car with a bunch of friends.

1. Under $6500
2. Fun to drive
3. Unique
4. Good handling
5. Agile
6. Reliable

Sounds like an MR2 to me. I got mine for $4500, and I havent found a car more fun to drive. They're extremely rare around most areas, and they've got Toyota reliability, but they ARE difficult to control at the limit... so I wouldnt suggest the car to someone of your age. When you get alot more driving experience i'd recommend checking out an MR2. Until then, some of the other cars that come to mind from your post would be...

1. Mazda Miata
2. MKI MR2
3. 240SX (but quite common)

Hahaha...when you said hard to handle (MR2) I remembered the famous video where this guy launches and goes to a parking lot crashing against a Jetta, and almost hitting a post and a Type R...pretty odd video.

yeah, I HATE that vid lol. I dont know what annoys me most of all. The dumb move from the guy in the mr2 or the fact that everyone was over reacting and being a bunch of jackasses.

btw you can dl the vide here (right click save ass) (http://www.uglypeoplesuck.com/bits/2003/01/27/mr2crash.mpeg)

s14 zenki 240sx, they are very rare, and handle great. s13's r common, so get an s14. They are relatively cheap, RWD, and FUN to drive. easy on insurance and maintainance also. Best of all you can find one for around 5k
