Intake, header, exhaust are the basics. Check the engine code on the block, a flat plate on the block near the tranny.

Im guessing either a D15B or D16Z6! more modes would be Ignition upgrade(MSD), more aggressive cam, cam gear, Port&polish head, clutch upgrade, n20 etc the possibilities are endless.

well I mean with a question like "what modifications can I do" These are honda motors, anything you can think of can be done to them, theres a kit for everything from dry sump oil system to full billet deck riser plates to type R sickers. Its to the point were you dont modify these motors you bolt stuff on to them, someone else has done the modification for you. If you want real custom work get you an amc strait 6 motor and try to find performance for it (also willing to bet that 93% of you dont know who AMC is....)

AMC (American Motors Corporation) made the Mirth-mobile (Pacer) and the Gremlin...sadly that's the extent of my knowledge.

AMC = American Motor Co. ... Javelin, AMX (top competitor in old school racing), Gremlin (my dad had one and my brother had one), Eagle (4x4 wagon... my wife wanted to buy one not long ago), Pacer (Wayne's World car), Ambassador (big @$$ station wagon), and Concord (sedan)

man you are talking to some real car guys here, AMC is not a hard to know brand, they were around not to long ago, like 30something years ago. you got to get back to the old old cars, like back in the 1910's and shit before people might not know what they are.

See I'm from texas, they weren no where neer as popular here as they were up north. I own a 77 gremlin-X, currently in the works of selling it. Has been my project car for eh... about 4years. Was my fathers car before he passed away. Trying to find me either an AMX or Javelin 401, do something alone the lines of what this guy has done to his matador- http://www.matadorcoupe.com/Marshall.htm

kinda o/t, My girlfriends father has a Olds cutlass that he's fixing up and from time to time I go out and kinda help him or watch. It should haul balls when it's done but I personally think it's one of the ugliest body styles I've ever seen in my LIFE. lol
