steering problems

Let me start off by saying that at first I thought it was just a brake dragging, like a malfunctioning caliper or bracket. But after about two more days of driving I realized that it was making the noise even when i did not brake, but NOT all the time. It is ONLY when I go around a corner. It comes from the right front, and is ONLY when I turn right. I have tried reversing and turning and that did not cause this noise. Also, either I cannot hear it at higher speeds, or it is only when I am driving slowly, OR the third possibility is that it is the extent that I am turning the wheel.(Like only on a 90 or near 90 degree corner.

My only clue is that it may be the component that balances the speed of the wheels (front wheel drive) as it goes around the corner. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check your Hub Bearing, they will make noise when you turn one way because of the extra load you put on the bearing.... If you go around a long right curve & hear the noise then it will be Left bearing (I think this is correct) .... Bob
A clicking noise would be your CV joints....
