1) How do I create a desk top icon for my songs? It's a pain in the ass to go through and find the file. Will be much easier to click a folder on my desktop.
2) The more green bars the better or worst? ...I understand that is telling you the availability to DL that file. Should I look for files with green bars or no green bars?
3) Where can I see the transfer rate as the file DL's? ..and the percentage done, etc....
4) One of my songs says "Offline". Does this mean that the user is not on-line and it will DL the next time that person comes back on-line? What if he disconnects before the song is complete?
Thanks
PS <> Any other pointers will be appreciated as well :)

I would create a short cut, which will place an icon on your desktop.

The more green bars the better. The greater the number of green bars, the better quality and the shorter the time it should take to download (although there are no guarantees).

You should be able to observe all of that from your personal profile on Audiogalaxy's website. It should indicate the status of each DL as it goes.

This I have never been able to figure out. But if one of the songs does say that, I would be inclined to find another version and try DL that first.
Good luck! :)
Thanks

2. More is better, this is how many people have the song you want
3. There will be a system icon in your taskbar with that blue symbol on it, click on this and itll bring up a separate window that tells you all the songs your transfering and their % complete and download speed
4. Your trying to get a song thats pretty rare, noone that is logged on is hosting it, your only chance of gettig it is being on at the same time as one of these few people that have it, it will remain quewed until you delete it so theres no problem if they comeonline and leave again
All songs if partially downloaded can be resumed when either party comes back online, thats why you can look in the directory and youll see a file called *.mp3.temp this is the temporary file that will convert to a *.mp3 when the dowload completes...if you go to add song in winamp and change the file type from "all audio files" to "all files" you can add this temp file to your playlist and play it before it finishes downloading
TIP. If you search for a song just click on the icon of the satellite dish and it will put it into your download que, you dont have to click on the name and go through teh whole process.

Thanks again for the help!!

There should be a file you open on my computer its at
C:\Program Files\Audiogalaxy Satellite\AGSatellite.exe
this opens the programme that it uses to download, without this open you wont be downloading anything.
The task bar is the piece on the side of the screen (on mine its the botom but it dont have to be) that has the start button on it, at the other end of it theres alot of icons, one of these will be the AG icon if the file is running
