Tires anyone??

I'm looking into getting a new set of tires for my 1997 jetta trek. Its 2.0L w/ 14 " rims (stock alloys) and 97K on it. I live in L.A, so I do ALOT of city driving, but I just bought it, and with the PCH and Vegas both so close, I plan on doing some road tripping in the near future. Any ideas/suggestions on a good set that wont bust my bank??

Try Kumho Escta, they are cheap and good.

I heard about those, but the only style in my size (14's) are the Hp4's... Not too impressed with those. I was thinking about some BF Goodrich Traction T/A's.. Anyone every tried these?
