Aoshima R34 Skyline M Spec Nur kit question

Maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. We've all seen Aoshima's new R34 and the Nismo and CWest versions. I don't know of any other versions in the works for now, but recently I've seen this kit pop up on Yahoo! Japan. Haven't been able to find out any info on it, nor seen any for sale in the traditional online Japanese hobby stores.

Definitely an Aoshima kit. I've seen the box content, same parts, body separations, etc. Nothing super special about the kit besides the fact it's molded in a millenium jade-ish color and comes with 2 sets of wheels (standard R34's plus 19" Nismo LM-GT4's). Also assuming (didn't see for sure) slightly different decals, too.

So anyone have some info? Limited release kit? Hobby show exclusive? Can't be super-rare, never seen any sold for more than 3000yen.

I saw that earlier today and thought nothing of it.... I assumed it was a Fujimi and just kept on browsing. Silly me ;)

Babelfish comes up with "Kids land original" if that means something to someone.

steve (hiroboy) has created the M-spec based on the Tamiya kit, check his work:

http://www.spc.org.uk/nissan/nissan-r34-nur.html

also tamiya mentioned M-spec in their R34 kits:
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=24258

it seems aoshima runs a limited run on this kit.

Okay, I've sent out some emails to some people/stores that might know. Just have to wait and see.

Hmm, means nothing to me. Could signify a limited release of some kind. Maybe some of our native Japanese-speakers can help us out. (Looks at hirofkd)

M spec is a lesser version of the V spec but not much, has softer suspension, aluminum hood instead of carbon.

So outward appearance is basically the same as V spec.

Kids land is a shop:
http://shop.joshin.co.jp/shopdetail.php?cd=1707

They rebox the aoshima kit but with both wheels and make the body in mill. jade.

Actually, it's more than the standard V-Spec. The Mizuno Spec Nur (M Spec) does have a softer suspension but comes with limited edition leather interior w/seat warmers and an N1 engine. The N1 has metal turbine blades instead of ceramic like the V Spec. Not to mention the tightly balanced and beefier bottom-end of the N1 engine among other things.

I believe the M Spec Nur is a limited edition of 1000 production pieces.

The ultimate production GT-R has to be the VSpec II Nur in Millenium Jade. The Millienium Jade color is only a limited color on the GT-R's.

Kids Land is a toy store chain in Japan. Just like you see and hear one of those Toys'r'Us exclusive, the R34 GT-R kit is only available at one of the Kids Land stores. The kit might worth something for collecors, but the content is probably the same as the Nismo Version. (except probably the decals)
The box says it's got two kinds of wheels.

Agree with that and not too sure about the CF hood because the M Spec I saw had the Carbon Fiber hood... and a complete Titanium exhaust with a hell of a heated tip.

Thanks for the info Hiro/Yvonne. Guess I'll just hold onto my money till Aoshima releases their next R34 variant.

Veyron is correct. All M-Spec's come with an aluminum hood but it sounds like the one you saw is awesome!

The only GT-R to come with a factory CF hood was the V Spec II and it's variants.
