car wont start

alright guys i have a big question
my car is a 95 rs and the car suddenly died on me. i had a sort of rough idle before this. but the car ran fine. the check engine light came on only on the highway, and the car still ran fine. the guy that helped me turn it on told me it was the ignition coil that was dead. the plug wires and the plugs are new, so that couldnt be the problem.

i just bought a new coil pack from msd and was wondering if this was the actual problem.

the car did turn on after a while but then died again a few seconds later.
he told me that whenever the ignition coil would get hot, the car would die on me becasue it was bad. there was no spark coming from the coil, so i assumed this was the problem.
when the car started again, we had let it cool down for a while before we started it again.
it died shortly after.

all the fuses are in good condition

did you pull the code from your check engien light? out of likely hood if you bought a new coil pack from mds, new plugs and wires, it may not just be your electrical. have you checked your fuel delevery sysyem. injectors, pump, fcs? see if you can pull the code.

i didnt pull the code.
but the plugs a i got about a month ago
and the wires a few days ago
tyhe coil has not been installed yet
i will get it this weeekend and let you know how that turns out
