I have a stock 94 LS. I plan on buying a new Air intake, exhaust and headers. I was told that I should get a 4-2-1 header because of torqe my car has. I have been reading posts, and have noticed alot of people have the 4-1 headers. I'm just a little confused and need some advice on which ones I should get.

BTW: I am planning on a LS/Vtec conversion in the very near future

your getting a header not headers.just wanted to say that cuz so many people get all anal on little things like that in some of the 4 cyl topics cuz you know they dont make v-4's only 6's and up.so cant have 2 on an L4. im playin tho so dont trip.your car has about 1-5 pounds of torque and maybe even the same as the gsr. the thing is that the LS makes it at about 1,000 rps lower than the gsr.so in this case i would go to the 4 to 1 header.ceramic coat cuz of the heat it can take.plus you plan on the ls/vtec changeover.im not too sure on the the exust mani bolt pattenr if its the same as the b16 head.oh yeah use a b16 head instead of the gsr head.its cheaper and flows a lil better than the gsr.someone will clear up the bolt pattern on the exh mani if you dont already know.i hope that helps.dont go more than 2 1/4 pipe.
