Nope.
Ditto. The eBay sellers say stuff like that all the time. Your example was particularly bad. How do you go down from a minumum of $15k to only $2k? That's some discount.

If one doesn't do the research, one will get screwed.
If one can't do the research, one doesn't deserve a Skyline.
Simple as that.

This guy also has an R34 GT for sale on eBay and I contacted him to see if it was US legal and he responded with "Motorex will legalize it for $3K". I then replied saying that the legalization cost he stated is way below what Motorex normally charges and that there hasn't been a legal R34 in a while.
He then blocked my email for "asking too much questions."

I've been researching for years now into companies/individuals that supposedly sell legal Skylines and all but one was legit. I've been down every road, Speed53, Night7, OmegaSkyline, the countless eBay scammers and they all seem to go silent when the facts are given to them.
Thankfully I'll be moving to Japan next year to finally have the chance to own a GT-R.

Man...you guys have to go through so much trouble to get one of the best cars in the world. That really sux. Is it the authorities trying to make you guys stick to local cars?
Here it is easy to get an import in and get the compliance plate put on. well...it was until recently. Now we have new bullshit regulations toughening up the laws on 'grey imports'. To be able to compliance imports now you have to have a workshop onsite and have done crash testing etc.
Before anyone could import a skyline/200SX/300ZX or any JDM car for not much at all. Get it shipped over and get a compliance plate for very little. Hopefully the new regs wont push the prices up too high

I apologize for saying that all eBay Skyline sellers are scammers. I forgot that many of them have a disclaimer about the legalization issue as being the responsibility of the buyer. The sellers I'm referring to as scammers are the ones that claim they can get you legal Skylines, even R34s, for WAY cheaper than MotoRex.

Has any of the replies helped you make up your mind? Its a lot better to wait a few days or weeks to see if its legit rather then jump the gun and get scammed for several thousand $$$.
