I really want this car, but hes asking just too much for it

anyway, I put it the kbb and they said its not even worth 2000 which is what i wanna give him for it. I havent talked to him or anything but he says firm price. Personally my philosophy is no fortress impenitrable. Tell me what you think. can i get it for what i want. you know basic that stuff. take a look at it.

He may have put alot into it but sentimental value has no price.

There is no way you can argue down a price. Not unless your point out flaws that make the car not worth buying that much. But, even then its not what you think its worth its what the person is selling it thinks. I could post a POS for 10 g's doesnt mean anyone is going to buy it. Like on auto trader there has been this Red Levin for about two months and the price is still 8,500 and still no one has bought it.

That's a pretty damn high price, but if the car is in really good condition and he can show all service records, it might be worth it.

I know people and i know what hes thinking. By reading his discription. He loves that car more than life and the only reason hes selling it is tradgedy. i.e lost job. So hes trying to get something out of it.
As you can see he put alot into it and he stored it so damn. I think the price is a matter of sentimental value. And honastly sentimental value cannot be translated into money.
So ill talk sense to him, rub it in his face how long its been for sale, and tell him how much ill take care of that car and how nice i will keep it.

I do think thats a little high, especialy for a non turbo model. But it looks to be in very good shape and has 67k on it. Maybe worth 2400$ i would never pay more then that. i'd paywhat hes asking if it was a 88 300ZX shiro special, but then again thats realy rare
