A question from the new guy

Hey there everyone I am new to this forum but i just wanted to see if anyone out there has done or is thinking of puting a built up 350 in their caprice. Then takeing on a vette on one on one. I just wanted to know if i am the only crazy one out here. PLease feel free to comment in any way you seem fit I will take no offense. Also if any of oyu have any tips send um my way. My project is just gettin started and is scheduled tobe done in 5 years. But, ideas and comment are always welcome.

Well, I was briefly thinking about a 350 in my 1978 caprice 2 door...but for sheer power reasons im now leaning tword a 398 or maybe even a 454. My plans include a supercharger..etc etc... I dont think she'll be done for about 5 years also...but when she is done...we figure her running real low 11's...maybe high 10's. Its an article featuring a 78 similar to mine. He had a N/A 454 running mid 11's...so yeah When Im done Ill race a vette :).
