93 Suburban Transmission Question

How much power can a stock 93 k1500 Suburban automatic tranny handle? HP and Torque numbers would be greatly appreciated.

You can also check out www.transmissioncenter.net/extreme_duty_parts.htm for fixes for the 4L60-E shortcomings. The reaction gear sunshell and the input shaft are two weaknesses of this transmission. I can't give you exact numbers but, these sites may be able to provide you with some.

Thank you so much, that kit will be more then useful. I was really trying to avoid getting a new transmission. A 454 H.O. recently came into my possession and I knew that 500 pounds of torque would be way to much for the stock tranny. This kit will boost it to 700, more then what I need.
