Anyone who has bought the chip for an RSX Type-S, how much does it really work, how much does it cost, and where can i get one?

Its not a chip.
You either mail your ECU and key to them where they reflash it or you can get the more expensive one called the K-Pro which you plug into your car and you can edit and tune almost everything.
Hondata gives great gains for the price and with other mods its even better.
www.clubrsx.com or www.hondata.com for a distributor/dealer.
Cost, i'm not from the US so I can't say whats the best price.

A lot. Its one of the best mods out there. Although if you're using NOS or a Turbo I don't think it'll work.
The Hondata and a cold air intake will yeild very good gains, even better if you put a race header (not legal though because it won't pass emissions and has not catalytic converter).
