isnt there some intakes that look like intercoolers? and they go right in front of your car so it can suck up air. i would rather get one of those there like 70 bucks, and they actually got a a purpose.

I work at pepboys and see more rice then china town. Perfect example this lime green neon comes in with fake exhaust pipes comin out of the side, APC stickers all over it. "Overheating problem" He wrapped his radiator in tin foil and pressed it to the radiator to look like an intercooler. Mexican dude, didnt speak english, so i ripped out the tinfoil and sent him on his way. Its sad, that kinda shit should be outlawed.

yep, sad but true.... i would kick him in the head but i figured that if he gets it and mounts it all i might just pay a visit to his house overnight and simple aquire a nice new FMIC for my car and serve it a real purpose!!!! lol

yeah well you know what out of all things i seen today... i never thought that these fake front mounts would actually sell but anyways after reading this i went out today on a work call and seen a black civic (93 or 94) anyways it had a FMIC and i seen the guy getting into his car and i asked if his car was turbo'd and he said "yes, why do you wanna know" and well to my curiosity i asked to see what kinda work he did under the hood, and then the funny part happened, he opened the hood and to my amazment, he not only had a ***FAKE*** FMIC but he had one of those fake BOV things that simulate the sound of a BOV!!!!! it was funny i never laughed so hard in my life... i said to him, "is that what gives you your boost" i then cut him down saying that for his $500 to make your car look and sound turbo'd he could have saved another $500 and make it a real turbo'd car and gain some power out of his shit wagon...but regardless i bet he would smoke all of us... lol.... needless to say he didn't like that too much and told me to fuck off.... i called him a rice boy and carried on....

Its stuff like that, that gives import cars a bad name. All thouse people who put all their money into looks and none in the motor...Thats why alot of people think imports are slow jokes. And dont know about the 6 sec cars that run on basicly stock 4 cylinder blocks. Only 2~1.5 sec away from the top fuel funny cars.

lol I just listen to the motor. DEAD give away when you don't hear a turbo whine. but you see about 50 stickers from diff companies that are known for their turbos lol. last night I pulled up to a light and there was what I thought was a srt-4, reving its motor up. it sounded weird, but I wasn't paying attention (i was in the "smoke your ass" mode) I figured it would be close.......no friggin contest. I stomped him. so I pull into taco bell and he pulls in behind me stops and says "I wasn't even trying" I just shook my head and laughed. when he drove off I looked again and yep there was a srt-4 on it ......right above the stx emblem he forgot to remove . it's just that way around here though. honduhs, neons, stickers and ricers. But there are a few dsms around here that are the same way. I talk to them every now and then but all I get is "i beat all the honduhs already though". They just wanna look like they know what they are doing is what I have determined. but when you hand them a wrench and tell them to take out a clutch, they stare at you and haul ass to the super street collection under their bed hoping for an "informative article" lol. I don't mind really (I do body work on the side so they tend to be my second income ha ha ha) so the moral to all this is, don't try and convince them, they won't listen. make money of them like these faux companies do, and use it to smoke their ass.
