cleaning out injectors

I am looking into cleaning my fuel injector since the motor has been on the stand for about a year now. I am thinking the injectors are going to be crystallized from sitting. I called around and found Napa is one of the only places around that does it and they want $25.00 an injector which is going to be over $160.00, is there a way to clean them well myself that someone may know of?

They have to be forced cleaned with solvent. To do this you need some sort of plumbing setup as well as a way to open the injector nozzle. It's called a fuel injector flush machine. They cost several thousand dollars. NAPA knows this and that's why they charge so much. It's not like you're going to buy the machine.

I found a few on Ebay for just a few hundred but thats not what I'm looking for or looking to do.

I also had a guy tell me to soak them in gas and then reinstall they and run a can of Seafoam, they would be fine?

I had a set of my injectors cleaned there and the car runs 100% better now... one of my injectors was stuffed-up. Richard Jensen really does a great job - and mails them back to you within a week or 2.
