Removing the Left Side Driverr's Insert

:smokin: Greetings my fellow Aurora Drivers.
Pictures are much better to show and and explain.
The insert is that sections that holds the electric seat controls, and the speaker and the line of swtiches.

How does this come off to service or replace the in-line switch panel?

Not sure about that part, but I do know the wood grain is just held on by a small spring clip in the front, which just pops up from the armrest. Just in case you wanted to know.

I believe he is talking about the top control section that controls the lumbar support, door locks and optional seat warmers.

I have tried without success to remove that, for I have a burnt out bulb under my passenger heated seat button. If that whole panel needs to come off, it seems to be a challenge to remove the cover for the small tweeter.

Any ideas?

Behind the interior door handle is a small cover, remove it and the screw underneath it.

Remove screws at the very bottom of the door panel, you must lift the panel up to remove it, then out a small amount to disconnect the wiring.

Now you can work on all of the interior of the door panel.
