Tail light stays on - 1990 Subaru Lagacy DL

The tail lights of my son's 1990 Subaru Legacy DL stay on when the car is turned off. The fuse looks OK. Would this car also have a switch on the sterring column that turns the light off and on when parking?

Yeah, there is a parking lights switch to turn on just the parking lights, that makes them stay on after the car is off. I don't know if it's on the steering column on a subaru of the early 90's, but it's there somewhere. Maybe on the dash around the steering wheel somewhere.

if it's not the parking lights being left on, then take a look at the brake light switch, it's behind the brake pedal, spring loaded i think, sounds like it may be sticking, they're adjustable too i believe?
