CD player/radio

We are looking for a cd/radio for my son's 1996 Pontiac Grand Am. It has a cassette player in it now. How do we find one that fits and will be easy to install? Do we have to get one from this exact model?

anything will fit fairly easy if you buy the installation kit for the 96 grand am. You can buy the kit wherever you would buy a stereo and its only about $20

You should able to find a single din cd player from just about anywhere. You could go to crutchfield.com and type in your sons car and they will find a deck to fit his car. You will also need to buy a wiring harness and a installation kit from the site as well. The site will supply you with instructions on how to install them. You could always go to a stereo dealer and pick out a deck and install it for you if you don't want to mess with it
