Whats the difference between a 40mm vs 42mm vs 45mm offset for wheels? I have a 2K max & want to move up to 18's with the wheels widening out just a bit more from the stock 40mm. Dont know if this even possible. Any harm done and is this a big difference?

IIRC, you can go up to 42mm without any problems.
