My 97 grand cherokee 5.2L will occasionally blow the pcm fuse. Does this automatically mean that the pcm needs to be replaced or should I start my search somewhere else? If it is the pcm does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket one cheaper? Thanks.

HI, THE FUSE THAT BLOWS IS IT ONE OF THE MINI FUSES OR ONE OF THE BIGGER MAXI FUSES. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT BLOWS WON'T START OR WHAT? CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THE FUSE IS LOCATED AND THE COLOR. EMAIL ME DIRECT AND I'LL TRY AND HELP EMAIL AT [email protected] Dale :smokin:

Thanks for the help. You hit the nail on the head. The downstream O2 sensor was shorting out on the driveshaft. I appreciate your help.

the wires on my o2 sensor hit the driveshaft as well... However I did not find any bad relays or fuses? Does anybody know which fuse/relay is for the pcm/ecu? Many thanks. Oh yeah, and I have a 97 jgc 4.0L
