Got my 81 esprite home....finally.

Hi yall.
I brought my 81 esprit home from red bluff Califonia all the way to Rocklin California. Its about a 140 mile drive.
on the way home it blew a tire, overheated, and the turn signal freaked out and now every time I try to use it, it honks. It was an adventure.
I also need to get it smogged. any advice as to what I should do befor I take it in for a test?

probally a tune up, does it smoke or anything?
