Dumbest. Wing. Ever. (Except those really curved ones you see on civics and preludes, those are just jokes).

I don't know about anyone else...but anything over 7500 seems like way too much for a NA...especially a stock NA with 100k+ on it...convertible or not...

Brokes Opening Bid: Blown rings, compacted main bearings and about 10 inches of shaft play in the turbos, providing those still work. Not to mentition enough oil leaks to get you hung by the EPA.

i have seen a TT for sale around here for about 8k. who would want to spend 11k on and automatic n/a with 120k miles on it?

My bet: I bet it's in decent shape and they have no clue what it's worth. Not as likely with Z32TTs, but this was the case with my car.

all dealers over price their vehicles to make profit
and private sellers use the blue book value, not honestly considering the condition of the car they lie to get more out of it.

Actually there may be some truth in that JCCR, I just looked up the blue book on the TT for 7500 and with some general assumptions made ("good" condition, 100k miles, power windows etc and so on) and it booked at $7425. Edmunds.com has the private party value even lower at an amazing low $4600. Good condition TT for 4600? I wish. Most decent, stock TTs I've see anywhere sell in the 10k-15k range regardless of year.
Now heres the weird part. Considering that there isn't usually too much difference between model years and that conditions and mileages of individual vehicles varies wildly, the blue book on a 93 with all the same settings (mileage, condition etc...) is over 9000. Even the pesimistic Edmunds guide lists a 93 at 7000 private party. Given that each vehicle is an individual case and that these are generalities at best, thats still alot of difference for just a two years. Especially when a 95 is valued at 11,000+ on Blue Book and even just over 10,000 on Edmunds. My guess is that they just use a simple formula that deducts a death load of points once the vehicle is 10 years old or more. You could prove that by searching other vehicles and comparing them with going prices but that sounds like work.
Just goes to show that the only price that matters is what someone is willing to pay.

lol, i got my 300zx for 9500. Its got 50k miles and the entire car inside and out looks new. i guess i paid a lot more than 5900 bucks!
After my old 300zx was totaled (i wasnt driving) the insurance gave me 7500, so i had to pay 2k out of my pocket for the one i have now.
I know i could have gotten a tt for that price but my parents wont let me have a tt until i can pay for my own insurance which wont be any time soon. lol
Im waiting to get my black on black 300zx, with a manual tranny!

I got my 1990 300zx TT for $7500 with 68K miles on the clicker. There are some cosmetic issues (needs new paint), but the interior is awsome, no oil leaks, engine runs like new, turbos pull strong as hell, and i get 310HP to the wheels with 11.5psi of boost, intake, and exhaust. came with the exhaust and 18" ADR m-sport rims. I got the guy down to $7,500 from $12,500, so im happy. It also came with a ricer body kit, which I imediatly took off.
