i was wondering if anyone knows if its possible (I dont mean the line everyone gives its possible if u have money) to buy atts and put it in a prelude that doesnt already have it or anyother car like a civic?

from what i understand, the atts is a fairly large ontop of the trans (never delt with it myself). there would prolly be a space issue in a civic or 4th gen. i don't see why not in other 5th gens. but (and i could easily be wrong here) i think the atts system, has corresponding suspension parts, and ecu's. someone clarify for me.

jus put a quaiffe lsd in there. better investment than atts IMO. without serious modification, the atts just wont' mount up to anything but the h22a4 from the 5th gen type sh. it won't eve match up to the h22a4 from the 5th gen base without modification. i'm sure it's possible but not very practical to say the least

adding an ATTS would be a pain and a very espensive install considering there are all kinds of sensors throughout the car that measure g forces, body roll, etc.... it's not just an ordinary LSD - its a very complex form and it would involve getting an SH tranny, ATTS unit, ATTS controller, Sensors, and a new engine block because the base model oil filter is on the back of the engine where it will get in the way of the new ATTS unit. on the SH block the oil filter is on the top right left side of the motor just for ATTS. all this without mentioning the wiring. save yourself a few grand and get a Quaife
