CAI converted to short ram

Ive been thinking of converting my Injen CAI to the short ram. Just wondering if I do convert it, all I would have to do is unplugg my neg batt cable and let it stand for 10 mins and everything will be fine correct?

and you would need to take the extension pipe off. hopefully you already knew that and just left it out. :-)
