got a 95 eagle talon tsi
head blown, need a whole new engine, rebuild or buy another engine? which one costs more?

will a 99 eclipse stock turbo fit into the talon?

Im not sure wich one costs more. but the 4g63 from the 99 will fit into your talon. but i suggest you get an engine from the 1g if your getting another one to put in.

no its the opposite.

changing out the head gasket is by far the cheapest..especially if you are doing it yourself. i bought a gasket set for about 100 bucks. when i replaced my head. if u do replace the engine get a 1st gen for sure. larger throttle body, better flowing head, no crankwalk probelms,

get a 1st gen 6 bolt engine. it will coast u alot cheaper than bying a 2g one. and its stronger. do research and see what else you will need for the swap...
