o2 sensor

Hey i was getting my o2 sensor fixed bit even when the new one was put in it was still reading the o2 sensor bad (possibly the harness). However i was planning on taking out the 2 after cat o2 sensors any way so i cold put in a cat bypass. I was wondering if there was any way to take out the 2 sensors and and not make the check engine light go on i dont think the after cat o2 sensor dont do much becuse in 98 they took them out.

I know they make electronic devices that are called 02 simulators...havent heard of anyone using them on audis..but I dont see why they wouldnt work.. search for em..

might wanna get someone with a VAG to clear the code out off the ecu...then see if it comes back..

Also idk what are you talking about with the other thing about clearing out the code but i did buy a a code read out meachine and i did try to clear out the light but after a few minuts the car relises that there is still somthing wrong and givs me the light again

yeah..tha'ts what I meant.. so I guess the code is still there.. yeah..I guess you'd better check the wiring... you replaced both sensors?

well i know one of the o2 sensors are bad and i have found out that not only is the o2 sensor bad but the harness is to so once i get that fixed i waill see what happens then later on i want to get rid of the cat ne way so i am goingto put a o2 simulatior later and see how that goes
