2001 Ford Expo 5.4L

Well I have been hearing a off and on rumbleing sound(currrrr currrrr currrr) :eek7: comming from the right front side of the hood, I am not sure if its a air pump for the abs or the supension, can some tell me from what that noise is?

could be ac clutch kicking in and out.

But the a/c is not on, it only does it when I first start the car and sometime is makes that noise when driving

Yeah, its broken............

thats the air suspension pump my expedition does the same thing.
