Radiator Question

Hi,
I just recently purchased a "99" 528i and i have a couple problems but the latest is a crack in the Neck of the Radiator, The Dealer has told me this is a common problem. My question is, Has anyone else had this problem and is it a common problem? Or is he blowing smoke up my A**??

Your dealer is correct, this is a very common problem. Had the same thing on my 90 535i. Crappy little plastic necks just let go sometimes. I just replaced the whole radiator. Bout 200 down the hole. sorry. gl.
