Get yourselves down there !
What's the alternative, being at home, getting nagged at by the wife listening to your favourite football (soccer) team losing AGAIN on the radio (I'm an Everton suppoter so I know how this feels).
See you all there!
Paul.

Not much really, it was nice to catch up with the guys again, but the show was smaller that last year.
I only bought some tools and supplys. Chris took some pic I think ? Nice to see Neil, Paul, Andy, Pete and Chris in the flesh (read plastic).
Had a long chat with another AF Member Rallymal1221. Nice guy.

Shame I missed it, I would have liked to pick up a few supplies myself and meet some more AF folks. Unfortunately my impending wedding is taking up way too much of my spare time, not much time left to think, let alone spend on modeling.
Any exciting new SAS products I need to know about?

Thanks for the mention hiroboy. I also enjoyed meeting all the guys there at the show, and I learnt a lot also. I do possess just a hint of jealousy after seeing your 350Z though, even though I said I wasn`t (and the R32). Chris`s models are even more impressive when seen in the flesh as such. I`m sure as I gain more experience in modeling, I will be visiting SAS more frequently. Thanks all for taking the time to pass on your experience, hope to see you all again sometime.

Had the Do-Luck R34 on display minus the rear wing which had warped - currently being fixed. All the parts for this are done now, just have to sort out the etched parts for the wing. Its my biggest yet with some 24 parts in total for the full demo car outfit.
GP-Sports S15 kit was also on display and on sale but didnt take a pic (can be seen next to DL-R34 in main pic above). It will be up on the site in a few days.

lancerevoRS: with regard you question about Tamiya spray cans, are you asking about UK websites or actual shop fronts? I am from Leeds and there are two local places I know of that stock Tamiya spray cans. One is The Model Centre in Leeds itself. The other, with a much better range of paints (both Tamiya and Humbrol), is P & S Hobbies in York. I think it is P & S, but they advertise in the back of the Tamiya Modelling Magazine so you can look it up.
Hope this helps.

Looks like a good show. (I was sooo tempted to bust out my mad ignorant 'Murikan skillz and say "jolly good show," but see? I have self control!) I've never attended one so big, and never one just for cars. I sure hope the American shows I plan to attend are as good. Chris - I heard you may be planning to come to the Southern Nat's NNL stateside - any truth to this?

This show was far from big, just two small function rooms in a hotel with a handfull of traders. The show's in the US are much bigger and better organised hence why there was talk of me attending the Southern Nats you mention. That is unlikely now mainly because I move house in a couple of weeks and I'm also trying to save money for another busines venture and a possible trip to Japan for the Auto Salon in January. We'll see how things go and hopefully I can bring SAS to a US show next year.

Nice show. Seems interesting. The Do-Luck bodykit looks stunning. First I thought like, nice another bodykit for the R34... But hell what!!! 24 parts!!! And it looks sooo awesome... Got to have that one :D BTW, Definetally a nice Z. Now who's car would that be? I think he's got a lot more... I guess: A yellow one, a black one, two silver ones and probably a orange metallic one :p

It was a nice intimate little affair, which was about two hours too long. I do hope next year they advertise better as the afternoon was dead, only punctuated by bouts of hysteria by people furiously attempting to swat wasps which seemed to be in greater numbers than joe public at times. On a positive note it was good to see the chaps and Chris's new goodies, Gundam 1969 and the rest of the NW bike and car modelers club including me put on a good spread I thought, with a theme of Skylines, hopefully Paul will post some pics for you to see as I forgot to take any of the stand. :sunglasse

In the last pic, it seems that Hiroboy is proud to show his Z. I would be proud too. Did one of you had the chance to drive it? ;)

Yes, I will be making the trim rings slightly deeper. I also need to add the bolt detail.
