97 Honda Accord LX

I have a '97 Honda Accord LX and The engine light just came on. I recently had the timming belt replaced, about 2 months ago. Car runs great, 52K. Dows anyone know how to turn off the Check Engine Light? Please advise.

it has to be done by the dealer or a certified honda tech

I had the same problem on my '96 and it turned about to be a defective spark plug wire. Also, depending what area you are in Auto Zone does a diagnostic for free. Check the gas cap too.
