more turbo questions

how many psi should i run useing the stock injectors of my d15 91 civic dx hatchback cause i was told 6 or 7 ps1 is what the engine can handle but i dont wanan ram to much air in and choke the engine out. and since im kidna doig na frankenstien turbo kit what woudl soem one recomend for a turbo evne jsut pulled off soem car as well for intercooler and piping size

it will run 7psi, just clamp the return line on the fuel rail. lots of saabs and volvos have turbos, and theres tuns of them in the yards here.

even at 2 psi, the engine begins to run very lean on stock injectors with stock injector pulsewidth.

for low boost, i would run *atleast* an FMU

btw, too much air wont choke the engine out, it will run very lean and detonate and eat your ring lands.

well what abotu the crx hf what kinda specs did that have for runnign a

can't he just put 2 more on soo that hes getting more fuel or just turn up the fuel so there pushing more out

how do i turn up the fuel cause well i dont wanna fuck wiht a fuel managment system or anything i jsut wanna strap it on add a boost and set the vavles and away i go

then you will blow the engine very shortly.

turbo is more than mechanics, it is fuel management and ignition management. If you refuse to acknowledge this, acknowledge the price of a new engine becuase you will be buying one very shortly.

well yea i will acknowledge it but how did they do it with the crx hf cause that thing defiently isnt much different from mine

look the crx hf is basicly how u find a stock turbo manifold for the b and d series motors and its one of 2 or there models to have a turbo but i wanna know how the crx hf ran

really if you dont add more fuel than you shouldn't turbo theres really not enough fuel getting in that motor for that

i think a 50 shot would be better for you its putting more fuel and you dont have ot worry about it getting to thin

I think your looking for somebody to say ya do it it will work great. Well here it is IT WILL WORK GREAT just strap the turbo on and go dont worry about the fuel or the ignition you dont need it oh and ya do 7 psi. So now you got your answer go for it. BTW please post and tell us how bad your motor siezed after you run this application.

well i have to upgrade my ignition anyways my caps shitting otu along iwth the wires and im gettign a ignition coil

the CRX HF never had a turbo. no production honda vehicle ever had a turbo except for the tiny HOnda City, which was a vehicle only available in japan.

the CRX HF manifold (and 1988 civic STD, just FYI) has a small manifold that looks very similar to a cast turbo manifold. Using an adapter plate, you can bolt on any turbo you want. the HF was a fuel mileage vehicle.

IF YOU DO NOT RUN ADEQUATE FUEL MANAGEMENT, YOU *****WILL****** BLOW YOUR ENGINE WITH THE QUICKNESS

please, do us all (and yourself) a favor, and research this a little more before you even try to attempt such a thing which you seem to have very little to no knowledge about.
